My sweet baby turned two in July and I am just getting around to blogging it, but better late then never. One of her favorite things in the world are cookies, so it only seemed fitting to have a cookies and milk party. We had 4 types of cookies and chocolate and regular milk that I put in vintage milk bottles! Here are some pictures of her special day.
I have to talk about this cake! I found the recipe in Martha Stewart magazine and it was sooooo good! It's 7 layers of chocolate chip cookies glued together with whip cream frosting and then you put it in the fridge over night!
This present from grandma and grandpa took the cake!
For party favors I found these adorable FREE paper milk boxes at papercrave.com and put miniature cookies in them!

Cambria Wedding Part 2
Cambria Wedding part 1
Warning this will be photo overload!!! My husband and I had the privilege of shooting a destination wedding in Cambria, in southern California. It was beautiful, right next to the ocean and the small town had so much charm. I was so happy to have my husband with me, he did an amazing job of getting a different angle on everything. It was a full day starting at the beach at 9 and then traveling from hotels to the salon and finally the venue at Robin's restaurant. There are so many pictures to share that I will have to split the post, so here is the first half of the wedding.
And then we went to take pictures on the beach
I loved the detail in this wedding everything was thought of and very unique

Mr. Landon
It's been a while but I am going to try blogging again. I have been waiting for Mr. L to make his entrance for a while. I was going to document his birth but he came the same day I was leaving town and then my kids got a stomach bug, yuck! But finally at 7 days old I met sweet baby L and had a good time with brothers Luke and Logan too. I have had the honor of taking all the boys newborn pictures, which melts my heart to have seen them all grow up to be there own little men.

Dr. Seuss on the Loose!
My son likes to party and every birthday we have to try and figure out a theme for his party that he will not change a million times!
This year I talked him into Dr. Seuss and it was perfect! I started envisioning right away and came up with so many crazy ideas, I ended up narrowing it down a little and the final produce was a success. Here is how we spent Micah's 4th birthday...
The decorating was all in the little details. We hung some famous quotes from Dr. Seuss books, we also made a trip to the library and checked out every Seuss book we could find, it's also very easy to find Seuss character clip art.
The food was fun to think up, I stole some ideas from on-line and then made sure to make name cards to show what we were having, can you name the book the food came from?
Here was our menu...
egg deviled eggs and ham-burgers, hop on pop-corn, poodles eating noodles salad, barbaloot fruit, yertle the turtle chocolate turtles, frankfurter roasted hotdogs, one fish two fish red fish blue (gold) fish and pink yink ink drink!
The cake was so fun to make, I loved making it look like the Cat in the Hat cake!
Micah's faces where priceless, he had a blast and opened every gift before bed that night! Now time to start envisioning for next year!
